The side opening position is different on each cover, lining up with the position of the cooling fans located on the side of the inverter. Maximising airflow into the cooling fan is critical and this has been individually designed on each cover to suit your particular inverter. To top it off an access slot has been laser cut in the front panel so you can access the control panel without removing the cover making it the ultimate solution.

Great quality product. Would recommend. The only suggestion is that the mounting holes should be slotted to allow easy removal of the cover without fully removing the screws – these slots are provided on the other inverter cover I received from Cover My Inverter, but not on the SMA one.
